Jazz Choir
A small, highly select ensemble that primarily performs jazz standards with a combo. Hire us for your event! (We also do Christmas caroling around the holidays!)
Concert Choir
Our largest group, Concert Choir is our mixed (soprano, alto, tenor, bass) ensemble. We feature specialize in larger group mixed music and compete at large group festival.
Treble Choir
This ensemble focuses on music for soprano and alto voices. We specialize in sop/alto chamber music, and we compete at the large group festival.
About the Program
The Mead Choirs have sung in the Spokane community and throughout the Pacific Northwest, earning a decades-long reputation for providing high quality classical and jazz performances to their community. This year will see the choirs engaged in their full slate of regular events including concerts for Fall, Winter, Valentine's, and End-of-Year, as well as visits to the Large Group Festival in Spokane (hosted at Mead!), and Jazz Choir at the DeMiero festival in Lynnwood and CBC Festival in the Tri-Cities. Please see the calendar below as it will be continually updated with our upcoming events, and check out the Boosters Club to support the program. Thank you!
Intro to Voice
An introductory general music class for students interested in using their voices to make music and learning basic theory and performance practice, but not necessarily in an ensemble music setting. Meets in the choir room; one semester class. This is the only music class at Mead with no fees and no outside-of-school commitments.

Supporting the Choir:
Our Boosters Club
The Boosters Club is a parent organization that plans fundraisers for students to help them pay for fees and travel, and help the program with ongoing costs or big projects. Boosters meets in the choir room on the first Tuesday of the month at 6:30. Without family involvement, choir cannot exist! For more info or to support the Boosters Club, contact the president at meadchoirboosters@gmail.com (more contact info under "Contact" menu).
